Programme 1:
Highland Tour 2 days 1 night
Day 1: Nha Trang – Dray Nur waterfall – Buon Ma Thuot Cty (220 km)
Leave Nha Trang for Buon Ma Thuot. You have a chance to see the coastal view, countryside with rice and sugar cane field. On the way, you will stop at the top of Phoenix Pass – the border of two provinces for a panoramic picture. Then you will arrive at the highland which is known as the biggest part for coffee in Vietnam for export. You also spend your time visiting coffee, pepper and rubber plantations.
After lunch, you have a small trek in the waterfall, take the photo of the mighty Dray Nur Waterfall. Back to Buon Ma Thuot City for overnight. Free time at night.
Day 2: Buon Ma Thuot – Lak lak – Nha Trang (220km)
After breakfast, you will transfer to Lak lake for the sightseeing, visit Jun village of M’nông minority people to meet and learn about hill tribe culture, ride elephant in the village. Enjoy your lunch at Lak lak before going back to Nha Trang in the late afternoon.
Programme 2:
Nha Trang – Buon Ma Thuot – Lak Lake 2 days
If your idea of a great trip includes seeing stunning mountains, powerful waterfalls and traditional longhouses than this tour is for you. Buon Ma Thuot is a showcase for the rich cultural tapestry of the Central Highlands. Riding on incredibly scenic road, you’ll reach peaceful Lak Lake which has long been considered a treasure of Vietnam. It’s also a great chance to involve in gongs music show which plays a central cultural role in the lives of ethnic minority people. In the next morning, visit the Ethnology Museum and bustling regional market for A real insight into local life before returning to the sands of Nha Trang
8:00 Pick up from hotel in Nha Trang. Upon arrival, meet the local guide at Buon Ma Thuot for city tour briefing, then have lunch before touring. In the afternoon, transfer to Lak lake. Visit Jun village, enjoy a ride on Lak lake by dug-out canoe for 1 hour to see the local people fishing . Visit M’Lieng village on the other side of the lake. Walk around the village to discover the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands. Ride an elephant for 1 hour. In the evening, there is an option to enjoy Gong music (on own account). Dinner and over night in long house-on-stilts by Lak Lake.
After breakfast, move back to Buon Ma Thuot. There are some interesting things to do this morning. Visit the Ethnology Museum where we can see many things from the daily life of the ethnic minorities in Vietnam such as clothes, tools, musical instruments. Visit Buon Ma Thuot’s bustling regional market. You can buy some souvenirs before transferring to Nha Trang. Lunch stop on the way.
